Wizway take part in the European discussion about the challenges of contactless ticketing at IT-TRANS event in Karlsruhe

The 6th edition of IT-TRANS, the leading European conference dedicated to intelligent transport systems, takes place in Karlsruhe from the 6th to the 8th March 2018. With this year’s theme of digitalisation and Smarts Cities, IT-TRANS provides a platform for the major players in the sector to show how public transport and mobility in general can benefit from new technology. Wizway Solutions will be presenting their solution, which allows the rapid deployment of contactless ticketing on a Smartphone and they will be taking part in the discussions about ticketing and its challenges.

From the 6th to the 8th March 2018, the international public transport sector with meet at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre. Wizway will be showing off their tecnology, which allows all transport operators to simply and rapidly offer contactless tickets on a Smartphone.  Their solution, which is based on NFC technology, has the advantage of being compatible with the different existing European ticket validation systems and can be easily integrated into existing transport applications.

Wizway’s solution has been operational since July 2017 on the Strasbourg transport network. It has also been selected by UGAP, chosen by SNCF and by Ile de France Mobilités for Smart Navigo. The company aims to enable all passengers on European public transport to travel from A to B using just their Smartphone, even when it is out of battery.

Wizway Solutions look forward to welcoming you on stand E22, and will be taking part in the “SMART TICKETING ALLIANCE WORKSHOP” on the 6th March at 11.00 am in conference room 2.

Louis Brosse, CEO of Wizway Solutions, will also be speaking on the theme “THE DIGITALISATION OF TICKETING” during the Market update B, on the 7th March between 16.00 and 17.00, in the Hall of the exhibition – DM Arena.
